Durable Financial Power of Attorney

TCA § 34-6-102

Authorize someone to manage your finances and property on your behalf.

A Durable Financial Power of Attorney lets you (the principal) appoint an agent to handle financial matters — banking, real estate, taxes, and more — including if you become incapacitated.

Must be signed before a notary. The word 'durable' means it stays in effect even if you lose capacity.
